Chosen for his deep burgundy plumage that is reflected perfectly in TOFT's Beetroot DK yarn, the pompadour cotinga is a tropical bird native to the subtropical or tropical lowland forests of South America.

This cute crochet project forms part of our Edward's Menagerie collection of amigurumi crochet toys designed by Kerry Lord. This amigurumi crochet bird kit contains our luxurious pure wool DK yarn and an easy-to-follow downloadable pattern with video links for all the techniques.

THIS KIT CONTAINS: 150g of TOFT's luxury DK pure wool in the colours of your choice.

YOU WILL NEED: To complete your Pompadour Cotinga you will need a few added extras including a 3mm crochet hook, toy stuffing, Black yarn for facial features and a wool needle. Find everything you need in our haberdashery section.

MEASUREMENTS: When finished your bird will be approximately 24cm tall from feet to top of head.

SKILL LEVEL 2: This kit is suitable for enthusiastic beginners or those who have crocheted before.
