A gorgeously soft double knitting weight pure wool yarn, spun here in the UK. Part of TOFT's range of brights, this soft yet sour 'Lime' is now available in 25g balls of DK, perfect for adding a hint of colour to your next project.

Originally designed to accompany the release of Edward's Menagerie: Birds by Kerry Lord, Lime has become a popular choice when crocheting birds and dinosaurs, and has also been featured in many items of knitwear including hats, gloves and scarves. It's also the perfect colour for crocheting flowers and vegetables in the Alexandra's Garden range.

TOFT's pure wool range is seriously luxurious, spun in Yorkshire from the finest fleeces. Our pure wool yarns are versatile and can be used for most knitting and crochet patterns creating wonderful amigurumi toys, garments for adults and babies and a full range of supersoft indoor and wearable accessories. TOFT’s pure wool is lofty and bouncy, and has the perfect twist to ensure a soft handling fabric that washes very well. TOFT DK yarns have been used to create all of the crochet patterns featured in Kerry Lord's Edward's Menagerie book series and all the TOFT knitting patterns and crochet patterns.

TENSION: 22 stitches and 30 rows to 10 cm on 4mm needles. Used to create STANDARD sized Edward's crochet projects when worked on a 3mm hook.

CARE: Hand wash and dry flat.
