Introducing TURQUOISE
This vibrant and cheerful blue arrives amidst what is a very strange and unsettling time for us all as the world continues to battle with Covid-19. As a small business we are more aware than ever of our role within both our local and our global community, and have been working together on ways that we can give back not only to those who have supported us over the past 14 years, but also to those who need help most during this time.
For the next week (7th-14th May inclusive), we will be hosting an online charity fundraiser all focussed around our fabulous new yarn colour! We’ll be raising money for The Trussell Trust, a UK based charity working to end hunger and poverty in the UK. The Trussell Trust have seen an enormous demand on their 1,200 food banks across the country as people young and old face uncertainty during the crisis.
For every ball of Turquoise purchased in the next 7 days, TOFT will give £1 directly to The Trussell Trust. This can be yarn by itself, Turquoise within a colour bundle, or even Turquoise within a project.
We also have two special products which both carry a higher charity donation. If you take a peak in the ‘NEW’ section you will find the TOFT DK Rainbow Colour Bundle - our take on the 7 colours of the rainbow, featuring our four newest shades of yarn! This colour pack is great for making birds, monsters, or even hats so if you need to top up your stash, now is the time.At £36, you get one ball FREE (saving £6) and on top of that we’ll donate £6 to The Trussell Trust. £6 from every sale of our fabulous Aran-sized rainbow unicorn will also go directly to the charity, and this perfect beginner-level project is also sure to bring a smile to your face too.
Finally, we are very excited to announce our prize competition. £1 buys you one entry into the draw to win one of 16 prizes on offer! We have 15 bundles worth £200 and one star prize worth £500 up for grabs. All you need to do is answer the question in the listing to be in with a chance to win. 100% of the money raised from this competition will go directly to The Trussell Trust. You can increase your chances of winning by entering as many times as you like. £1 + the correct answer = 1 entry.
Each prize bundle will be different but include items with a combined RRP of £200 or more. The prize draw is open to all customers from any geographical location. You must be age 16years or over to take part in the competition. Prizes are non-transferable. All correct answers will go through to a draw where the winners will be selected at random on Friday May 15th and contacted via email. Delivery charges at checkout do not apply to this item. This competition has been established in order to raise money for charity.
