We’re excited to introduce our 11th bright colour to the TOFT range of DK wool. Over the last year, we’ve gradually released a set of rich, jewel-like tones to complement our core range of natural wools. Our original 6 bright colours were developed with crochet birds in mind, and the latest range lends themselves particularly well to dolls and monsters as well as timeless knitwear designs.
The new colour has been designed by best-selling author and TOFT Director, Kerry Lord. Magenta DK yarn expands the colour palette for our knitters and crocheters to experiment with and discover new patterns. The new colour has been thoroughly tested by the design team here at HQ, and given the coveted TOFT seal of approval. During our time testing and working with Magenta, we’ve worked to create some fun and summery knit and crochet projects (which can be seen below).
Like the rest of our range, the new TOFT colour is made from 100% British wool and has been skilfully milled in Yorkshire before being transported to our studio. With our latest Magenta colour, you can expect a yarn which is durable, rich in colour, and a pleasure to work with.
Not only have we added Magenta to our yarn line-up, but we’ve also introduced it to our popular Alpaca Pom Pom range. With the same wonderful press-stud design feature as the other colours in our Pom collection, the newest Magenta Pom can be swapped from hat to hat with ease. If you’ve got a hat with a stud pom, this newest colour can be purchased and easily swapped over without a fuss.
Have you purchased Magenta from TOFT yet? Show us what you've been creating with it! Upload your finished projects to Instagram (make sure you're following us @toft_uk) and use the hashtag #edsanimals to share what you’ve been doing with Kerry and the TOFT community. We can’t wait to see what you’re going to be getting up to with our newest colour.
