British Wool Week is upon us again around the country and, at TOFT HQ, we’ve been working hard to make sure it’s celebrated in the best way possible.
Some of the TOFT team have packed up a range of our best yarn and made their way to the Ally Pally Knitting & Stitching Show in London. With the show beginning on Thursday 10th October and ending on Sunday 13th, we’re all set to meet as many members of the knitting and crocheting community as possible. If you’re travelling to Ally Pally this weekend, then expect to be among the first to get your hands on our new Ruby yarn and pom poms which were released earlier in the week.
The Knitting & Stitching Show at Alexandra Palace is the biggest textile event in the UK and has a lot to offer for those visiting including; craft workshops and demos, galleries and displays from the best textile groups and artists and all the specialist craft supplies and yarn goodies you could ask for. Whether you’re a complete beginner, or a knitting & crochet guru, there’s something to get everybody’s fingers itching. The Campaign for Wool Week is now in its 9th year, after being officially launched in 2010. The campaign has been created to showcase the environmental and ecological benefits of wool. With wool being entirely biodegradable and a renewable fibre source, as well as naturally odour-resistant and a superb insulator, it’s the ideal material for our luxury yarn. We choose premium quality fibres for TOFT yarns which are spun to a unique specification in the UK. This ensures TOFT wool is perfect for our range of knitwear designs, and of course to make soft and huggable Ed’s projects.
If you’d like to celebrate British Wool Week, why not get over to our website and take advantage of free delivery? Between Friday 11th October and midnight Monday 14th October, get free delivery on all orders over £15 (or £100 for international orders)*.
If you’re wondering how to take advantage of our free delivery offer, we’ve got you covered. To coincide with Wool Week, we’ve released three brand new sheep patterns. Marian the Corriedale, Wayne the Gotland, and Everett the Romney are now available to purchase at TOFT Studio and online at the TOFT website. These three sheep have been created using our 100% pure wool British yarn, and are as soft and durable as their namesakes. Click the images below to take a look at the new lineup.
