August 2021 marks TOFT’s 15th birthday!
We’ve come a long way over the years, but something that’s always been consistent throughout is the trusty TOFT tote bag. Whether you’ve got the classic ‘Luxury British Knitting’ drawstring tote, a limited edition ‘Alpaca’ over-the-shoulder tote, the giant ’Supersize Shopper’ and everything in between, tote bags have been a staple component of the TOFT shopping experience since we printed our very first designs in 2006. We’ve given out close to 200,000 bags featuring over 20 different designs to customers all over the world.

This summer we’re planning to launch an anniversary tote bag to celebrate 15 years of TOFT – and we’re opening up the design challenge to YOU! Whether you’re a knitter, a crocheter, a book collector, or a bit of everything then we’d love to see your ideas.
This is your chance to design the 15th birthday TOFT tote bag. All you need to do is draw your design idea – on paper, or digitally – and email it to [email protected] by 31st March. The winning design will then be selected and printed on to 10,000 drawstring tote bags. On top of that you’ll also receive a £150 gift voucher to spend on whatever TOFT goodies you’d like to add to your stash!

We’ve created a handy tote bag template and TOFT logo for you to download and use when you are putting your design together. Please bear in mind that we will be printing in one colour only, so this may affect what you choose to include. It’s best to avoid photographs as these do not print well, and we wouldn’t recommend using any images you find on the internet due to potential copyright issues. Aside from that, your imagination is the limit and we can’t wait to see what you have to share with us!

Terms and conditions:
- The TOFT 15th Birthday Tote Bag Design Competition is open to all - apart from anyone associated with the competition including employees (and their partners and family).
- Entries must be made via email to [email protected]. There is no age or residency restriction on this competition - worldwide entries are welcome.
- This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Facebook.
- The designs submitted must be the work of the individual submitting them.
- There is no limit to the number of entries per person. Each design submitted will count as one entry.
- Closing date for entry will be midnight on 31/03/21. After this date, no further entries to the competition will be accepted.
- TOFT will notify the winner on or before 14/04/21.
- The Judge’s decision is final.
- One entrant shall win a gift voucher worth £150 and their tote bag design printed on a minimum of 10,000 drawstring tote bags.
- Entrants must not do anything illegal and/or dangerous and/or that would put themselves or others at any risk.
- Entrants must not use any work that is copyright and/or belongs to another individual and/or organisation.
- By submitting a design, entrants accept that the winning tote bag design will become the property of TOFT, is subject to further edits by TOFT and cannot be used for any other purpose by the entrant.
- TOFT reserves the right to make any updates and/or amendments to the competition terms and conditions at any time.
