Back at the end of September, Kerry Lord went on tour across the UK in partnership with John Lewis to celebrate the release of her newest crochet book – Edward's Menagerie: The New Collection. After a busy couple of weeks, Kerry returned to HQ exhausted and emotional but so excited for the future of TOFT.
"I am so grateful to everyone who came to see me, but also to each and every person who has used my patterns and shared photos of their projects over the last five years," says Kerry. "Edward’s Menagerie has changed my life, and I am only just starting to realise how much it has touched so many others. Please continue to enjoy crocheting my designs, and passing on our skills and the enrichment that this joyful hobby brings to as many people as possible. I am feeling so inspired by the makes, stories and hugs I have received over the last few days."
One of Kerry's favourite parts of the tour was the fantastic makes that fans brought with them (she even signed a few crochet animals!). We didn't manage to catch every single one, but below is a list of the venues where we managed to capture our favourites. Click on the venue to see our snapshots.
Cardiff & Cheltenham
Glasgow & Edinburgh
Manchester & Cheadle
Peterborough & Cambridge
This event was so popular that we are looking into organising something similar in the future, so keep your eyes peeled as Kerry may well be coming to a venue near you!
