Once upon a time there were three little pigs…
Join Kerry Lord to crochetalong the Three Little Pigs this September! From 14th-25th September we’ll be crocheting along together on TOFT’s socials and Instagram videos @toft_uk with daily techniques, tips and tricks on crocheting Three Little Pigs from Kerry Lord's second Crochet Fairy Tales book, Animal Fables.
You can click here to follow @toft_uk on Instagram for updates.
Follow along with one, two or three of the Pig patterns from The Three Little Pigs chapter of your Animal Fables book and yarn from your stash, or get yourself a kit with your new favourite colours and a digital pattern.
Whether you’re making a spotty or striped pig, their shorts, caps and bindles to fill with delicious turnips, Kerry's got all the techniques covered from their flat snouts all the way through to the curly tails. Also, if you joined in our recently Wolf CAL, why not crochet him a pair of trousers and a trilby, also included in Chapter Four of Animal Fables, ready for plenty of huffing, puffing and blowing houses down!

| "...the first impatient little pig came across some bales of straw." - Kerry Lord, Animal Fables |
"...the second pig had decided to make his house from sticks." - Kerry Lord, Animal Fables |
"...the third pig resigned himself to weeks of labour steadily building his house from bricks." - Kerry Lord, Animal Fables |
You’ll also need a 3mm crochet hook (or your favourite size to achieve standard TOFT DK tension which will be covered in the first days of the CAL). You can purchase stuffing, scissors and wool needles from our haberdashery or use what you have at home already.
Remember to share your progress and finished projects with the hashtag #OnceUponaTOFT. We can't wait to see your piggies come to life!
