Join Kerry Lord and the TOFT Team at Carry on Crafting Festival on the 11-12th July 2026 at the South of England Showground in West Sussex, UK!
Come and say hello in the Fairy Tale Tent, where you can see your favourite stories brought to life through the magic of crochet. Discover TOFT's wondrous selection of yarns, perfect for beginning your journey into crochet with, and explore the Crochet Fairy Tales collection of books, kits and wool bundles.
Throughout the weekend, the TOFT team will be running beginner workshops* to crochet a toadstool (tickets available here). Take a seat and we’ll take you through all the stitches to complete your make, from the basics of 3D crochet through front-post-back-post ribbing, making bobbles and crocheting together pieces for the neatest finish. Your ticket guarantees you a seat reserved for up to an hour and a half timeslot, allowing you to drop in for as long as suits you. Complete beginners are welcome and you don't need to bring anything with you, a full kit with all materials needed will be included as part of the workshop.
Designer and author Kerry Lord will also be hosting workshops* in the Masterclass Marquee, where you can design and make a flower fairy (tickets available here). The session will begin with a sketch pad and pencils as together we combine lots of different pattern elements to create your own flower fairy design. Under Kerry’s guidance you will choose your yarn colours, hairstyles, wingshapes and flower clothing features and combine them into a pattern unique to you. The session will also cover techniques for all the different elements of the fairy patterns and will demonstrate full customisation of different hairstyles so you can confidently complete your design after the class. All skill levels are welcome including complete beginners, all you'll need is a 3mm crochet hook!

- Any Friday or evening classes are for campers only, please do not book if you only have a day ticket.
- To book and attend this festival class you must have a valid entry ticket for the Carry on Crafting Festival. Tickets can be booked at www.carryoncraftingfestival.co.uk.
- Toadstool Workshop: Spaces on the workshop are limited and will be held for ticketholders only for the 1.5 hour duration of the timeslot. Please check the order form in your email confirmation or My TOFT Area to confirm which day and timeslot you have booked. You can drop in for as long as suits you within the timeframe.
