How to Close and Reopen a Round

A how-to video with TOFT's Kerry Lord, creator of crochet pattern book, Edward's Menagerie.
In this video, Kerry Lord demonstrates how to crochet a round closed using double crochet stitches and then reopen it by crocheting into the front and back loops of the same stitches. This technique is used mainly to create a nice joint for the legs of the frog and reptile crochet patterns.

NOTE: TOFT uses British English crochet terms in all of our patterns: for example, ‘double crochet’ (dc) is the same as the American English ‘single crochet’ (sc).
