Morag the Highland Coo
£25.00
Morag the Highland Coo has risen to fame as one of TOFT's favourite members of the menagerie since her debut at Edinburgh Yarn Festival in 2018. This shaggy 'coo' is one of the most loved designs to date and continues to bring joy to TOFT lovers all over the world.
Highland cows (known locally to Scots as 'coos') are the oldest cattle breed in the world, originating from the Highlands and the Western Isles of Scotland. They were originally Black, but the Victorians selectively bred them to become the standard 'ginger' colour we all recognise and love today – captured perfectly by TOFT's Camel shade. Depending on the breeder, you can see Highland cows in the whole natural spectrum of colours or, like us, you can make one in every colour!
TOFT’s
Edward’s Menagerie

There are video links for all the crochet stitches and techniques used in the pattern to get you started and help you complete your toy.
