Celebrate the Lunar New Year or Chinese New Year with TOFT's Bo the Dragon! Designed by Kerry Lord in 2021, this special dragon is one of the most intricate members of the menagerie that will keep your crochet hook busy and your mind occupied.

Starting from the new moon on 10th February, 2024 is a Year of the Dragon. Those born in this year are believed to be strong and independent, with a yearning for support and love. According to tradition, a dragon is powerful, energetic and visionary leader who possesses the keenest sense of self among the twelve animals in the Chinese zodiac calendar.

This crochet animal project forms part of our Edward's Menagerie collection of amigurumi crochet toys designed by Kerry Lord. The most intricate and involved menagerie addition to date, this fun dragon is sure to keep your hands and hooks busy! This amigurumi crochet animal kit contains our luxurious pure wool DK yarn and an easy-to-follow downloadable pattern with video links for all the techniques.

THIS KIT CONTAINS: 200g of TOFT's luxury DK pure wool in the colours of your choice.

The crochet pattern is provided digitally in .pdf format. You can download this from a link that will appear at the bottom of your order confirmation email and in your MY TOFT library. You can log in and re-download the pattern at your convenience.

YOU WILL NEED: To complete your Chinese Dragon you will need a few added extras including a 3mm crochet hook, toy stuffing, Black yarn for facial features and a wool needle. Find everything you need in our haberdashery section.

MEASUREMENTS: Approximately 50cm from front of face to tip of tail.

SKILL LEVEL 3: This kit is more suitable for those with some crochet experience.

IT WILL TAKE: Approximately 20 hours crochet time.
