Horace the Walrus appeared with his fellow ocean-dwelling friends in 2020 and has been a favourite crochet pattern ever since with his iconic tusks and some interesting and unique shaping. Walrus occupy the Atlantic and Pacific oceans, rarely found in open water and preferring to be close to the shore, shallow water or sea ice. Female walrus also possess tusks, and male walrus can weigh over a tonne! This woolly version is much lighter, a joy to crochet and won't take up as much room as his real-life friends.
