Dippy the Diplodocus

Dippy the Diplodocus was originally designed for TOFT's first ever workshop at London's Natural History Museum back in 2016, and now he is a firm favourite in Kerry Lord's menagerie of dinosaurs. This woolly version of the extinct dinosaur is much smaller and more cuddly than its prehistoric counterpart, which is one of the best-known dinosaurs due to the huge amount of fossils that have been found across the world.

This fun crochet dinosaur project forms part of TOFT's Edward's Menagerie collection of amigurumi crochet toys designed by Kerry Lord. This amigurumi crochet animal kit contains our luxurious pure wool yarn and an easy-to-follow downloadable pattern with video links for all the techniques.

THIS KIT CONTAINS: 100g of TOFT pure wool DK in a colour of your choice (shown here in Stone). The crochet pattern is provided digitally in .pdf format. You can download this from a link that will appear in your MY TOFT area and at the bottom of your order confirmation email, which you can save or print at your own convenience.

YOU WILL NEED: 3mm crochet hook, toy stuffing, a wool needle and a length of black thread for the eyes.

SKILL LEVEL: 1 - complete beginner.

VITAL STATS: When finished and in the sitting position your Diplodocus will be approximately 18cm tall.

IT WILL TAKE: approximately 1-5 hrs crochet time.
