Sloane the Iguanodon

You might have seen Sloane the Iguanadon peeping out of a kit in London's Natural History Museum, and we are now pleased that she is joining her prehistoric friends in the menagerie! Sitting at around 20cm tall, this is very much a miniature version of the 2 metre tall dinosaur, fitting nicely into the palm of your hand once completed. The crochet pattern itself is suitable for a complete beginner, making it the perfect introduction to the craft of crochet for any dinosaur fans in your life. Did you know, the Iguanadon would graze on four legs but it was also able to walk on two?

This cute crochet project forms part of the ever-expanding Edward's Menagerie collection of amigurumi crochet toys designed by Kerry Lord. This amigurumi crochet kit contains our luxurious pure wool DK yarn and an easy-to-follow downloadable pattern with video links for all the techniques.

YOU WILL NEED: To complete your Iguanodon you will need a few added extras including a 3mm crochet hook, toy stuffing, Black yarn for facial features and a wool needle. Find everything you need in our haberdashery section or upgrade to a complete kit which includes all of the above!

MEASUREMENTS: When finished your Iguanodon will be approximately 20cm tall to top of head when sitting.

SKILL LEVEL 1: This kit is suitable for beginners.
