Lazarus the Cayuga Duck

First released as a crochet kit for Easter 2019, Lazarus the Cayuga Duck has become a firm favourite in the TOFT flock. Full of character, this duck takes its name from Cayuga Lake, a glacial body of water in the state of New York where the first pair was caught by a miller. Distinguished by its lustrous green plumage, which has been crocheted using TOFT's deep Green DK, this duck sits at around the same height as its real life counterpart and will make a beautiful addition to your crochet bird display.

This cute crochet project forms part of our Edward's Menagerie collection of amigurumi crochet toys designed by Kerry Lord. This amigurumi crochet animal kit contains our luxurious pure wool DK yarn and an easy-to-follow downloadable pattern with video links for all the techniques.

The crochet pattern is provided digitally in .pdf format. You can download this from a link that will appear at the bottom of your order confirmation email and in your MY TOFT library. You can log in and re-download the pattern at your convenience.

YOU WILL NEED: To complete your Cayuga Duck you will need a few added extras including a 3mm crochet hook, toy stuffing, Black yarn for facial features and a wool needle. Find everything you need in our haberdashery section.

MEASUREMENTS: When finished your Cayuga Duck will be approximately 28cm from feet to top of head.

SKILL LEVEL 2: This kit is suitable for enthusiastic beginners or those who have crocheted before.

IT WILL TAKE: Approximately 1-5 hours crochet time.
