Not to be confused with the Emperor Penguin, King Penguin chicks look distinctively different to those of their cousins, covered with a thick down of dark brown feathers rather than silvery-grey. This crochet kit is perfect for practising your loop stitch technique!

This cute crochet project forms part of our Edward's Menagerie collection of amigurumi crochet toys designed by Kerry Lord. This amigurumi crochet animal kit contains our luxurious pure wool DK yarn and an easy-to-follow downloadable pattern with video links for all the techniques.

YOU WILL NEED: To complete your King Penguin Chick you will need a few added extras including a 3mm crochet hook, toy stuffing, Black yarn for facial features and a wool needle. Find everything you need in our haberdashery section.

MEASUREMENTS: When finished your Penguin Chick will be approximately 15cm tall from feet to top of head.

SKILL LEVEL 3: This kit is more suitable for those with some crochet experience.

IT WILL TAKE: Approximately 1-5 hours crochet time.
