The Lord of Misrule has been known by many names across the centuries, from the Abbot of Unreason in Scotland to the Prince des Sots in France. Presiding over festivities during the 'Feast of Fools' in the late medieval and Tudor period, the Lord of Misrule enabled kings, courtiers and servants to make merry with elaborate processions, plays and feasts.
This Lord of Misrule Doll is the perfect pattern to personalise, whether you are looking to create a fiendishly festive miniature version of yourself, or to gift to a friend or family member. The pattern includes options for customising your doll's hair so you can create a Jester, Fool, Master or someone completely different.
This crochet doll project is based on the Edward's Emporium collection of amigurumi dolls and costumes designed by Kerry Lord. Made using amigurumi crochet techniques, your finished doll will become an heirloom for generations to come. This stunning pattern is crocheted in our luxury wool DK yarn and makes the perfect addition to your collection, or as a gift for a loved one.

YOU WILL NEED: To complete your crochet doll you will need a few added extras including a 3mm crochet hook, toy stuffing and a wool needle. Find everything you need in our haberdashery section.
MEASUREMENTS: When finished your Lord of Misrule will be approximately 32cm tall from feet to top of head.
SKILL LEVEL 3: This kit is more suitable for those with some crochet experience.
