Verdant Wrap: Evergreen

Designed as a Knitalong to develop your knitting skills from your first cast-on right through to mastering cables, the Verdant Wrap will teach you everything you need to become a confident knitter. From increasing and decreasing through to slip and twisted stitches, the ten panels of different textures give you a broad sample of techniques and a resulting wearable project. KAL videos will be uploaded to the TOFT YouTube channel from 8th January 2027 covering everything you need to know to learn to knit.

TOFT’s Beneath the Trees collection is inspired by the otherworldly ancient trees of Puzzlewood in the Forest of Dean, working with a palette of colours that spans the seasons, from deep evergreens to autumnal ambers and natural russet browns. Puzzlewood undeniably has a magical atmosphere and aesthetic, making it the perfect setting for this collection in TOFT’s year of fairy tales.

TOFT’s wearable patterns are designed for the modern maker who wishes to show off their knitting and crochet skills. Enjoy creating unique knitwear pieces in our luxury pure wool in the yarn colours you choose to match your wardrobe.

THIS KNITTING KIT CONTAINS: 275g of TOFT's luxury DK pure wool yarn in the colours of your choice. We recommend choosing a gradient of three shades or complementary colours.

The knitting pattern is provided digitally in .pdf format. You can download this from a link that will appear at the bottom of your order confirmation email and in your MY TOFT library. You can log in and re-download the pattern at your convenience.

YOU WILL NEED: To complete your wrap you will need a few added extras including 4mm knitting needles and a wool needle. Find everything you need in our haberdashery section.

MEASUREMENTS: When finished your Verdant Wrap will be approximately 98cm long x 44cm deep at widest points.

SKILL LEVEL: Easy - This kit is suitable for enthusiastic beginners or those who have knitted before.

IT WILL TAKE: Approximately 20+ hours knitting time.
