This stunning colourwork project is part of our fashion-led collection of knitting patterns from the Autumn 2019 edition of TOFT Quarterly Magazine. This satisfying geometric pattern will be one you want to make over and over again.

TOFT's pure wool range is seriously luxurious, spun in Yorkshire from the finest fleeces. Our pure wool yarns are versatile and can be used for most knitting and crochet patterns creating wonderful amigurumi toys, garments for adults and babies, and a full range of accessories.

THIS KIT CONTAINS: 50g TOFT's luxury DK yarn in the main colour of your choice (shown here in Cocoa), 25g of contrast colour (shown here in Cream) and an alpaca pom pom (optional, shown here in Stone). You can download the pattern in a universal A4 format from a link which will appear in your MY TOFT area and at the bottom of your order confirmation email to save or print at your own convenience.

YOU WILL NEED: 4mm (60cm) circular knitting needles. This hat is knitted in the round.

SKILL LEVEL: intermediate.

VITAL STATS: Hat measures approximately 24cm from crown to base when flat.

IT WILL TAKE: 5-10 hours of knitting time

CARE: Handwash and dry flat.

COLOUR CHOICES: This knitted hat pattern is shown here using Cream and Cocoa wool with a Stone pom pom.

A NOTE ON POM POMS: Alpacas are not killed for their fur. The alpaca fur products stocked by TOFT are made from the skins of young alpacas which have unfortunately died through natural causes in Peru. Alpaca pelts are purchased from indigenous farmers and used to create items such as these alpaca fur pom poms. We feel that alpaca fur, when sourced in this way, is an ethical fur product as the alpacas are not harmed to any demand and the farmer gets a monetary return on the loss of income cause by the death of one of the herd.
