This fun crochet project is part of our fashion-led collection of knitting patterns from the Autumn 2019 edition of TOFT Quarterly Magazine. Enjoy playing with colours from the TOFT spectrum to make a hat that's perfect for everyone in the family.

TOFT's pure wool range is seriously luxurious, spun in Yorkshire from the finest fleeces. Our pure wool yarns are versatile and can be used for most knitting and crochet patterns creating wonderful amigurumi toys, garments for adults and babies, and a full range of accessories.

THIS KIT CONTAINS: 125g of TOFT's luxury DK pure wool in the colours of your choice and an optional alpaca Pom Pom (shown here in Coral).

YOU WILL NEED: 5mm crochet hook.

SKILL LEVEL: intermediate.

VITAL STATS: Hat measures approximately 23cm from crown to base when flat.

IT WILL TAKE: 1-5 hours of crochet time

CARE: Handwash and dry flat.

A NOTE ON POM POMS: Alpacas are not killed for their fur. The alpaca fur products stocked by TOFT are made from the skins of young alpacas which have unfortunately died through natural causes in Peru. Alpaca pelts are purchased from indigenous farmers and used to create items such as these alpaca fur pom poms. We feel that alpaca fur, when sourced in this way, is an ethical fur product as the alpacas are not harmed to any demand and the farmer gets a monetary return on the loss of income cause by the death of one of the herd.
