TOFT are very proud to present a 15th Birthday collection, brought together by revisiting and perfecting our most iconic and favourite designs from the last decade and a half. These patterns helped shape TOFT into the company it is today, each one causing a twist and turn on our path to 2021. These patterns follow our journey from the very early ready-to-wear collections through to the first creation of Edward’s Menagerie and to a brand new pattern that celebrates this year and the future.
The Mira Cowl is chic and simplistic, and a must have knit project from TOFT’s fashion-led range of knitted accessories. This design was first available in 2010.
“The first TOFT pattern to be translated into a language beyond English, this easy to make cowl design is one that’s never left my wardrobe and I still have and wear my original! Translated into French for our first ever international TOFT show in Paris in 2010, its chic simplicity proved incredibly popular and we sold every single ball of TOFT DK yarn we took over for the event, returning to the UK with a totally empty truck as a result of this pattern. The hardest thing about this very easy make is deciding which two natural colours to combine!”
A fantastic choice for a beginner looking to expand their knitting techniques, the Mira Cowl is made using TOFT's pure wool range of seriously luxurious yarn spun in Yorkshire from the finest fleeces. Our pure wool yarns are versatile and can be used for most knitting and crochet patterns creating wonderful garments for adults and children, and a full range of accessories.

The knitting pattern is provided digitally in .pdf format. You can download this from a link that will appear in your MY TOFT area and at the bottom of your order confirmation email, which you can save or print at your own convenience.
YOU WILL NEED: To complete TOFT’s Mira Cowl pattern you will need a few added extras, including a 5mm circular knitting needle and a wool needle. Go to our recommended section below to get direct links to these products.
MEASUREMENTS: When finished approximately 30 X 52 cm when flat after blocking.
