Found in wild heathland and moorlands across the UK and Europe, Heather is an evergreen shrub rich in history and symbolism. Used throughoout the ages for its healing properties, some believe it to be a magical plant. Perhaps the most well-known tale associated with Heather is the Scottish legent of Malvina, the daughter of a Celtic bard, who was engaged to a warrior that died in battle. The messenger that delivered the news gave her a pink sprig of heather and as she cried, her tears fell onto the petals and turned them white.

YOU WILL NEED: To complete your Heather you will need a few added extras including a 3mm crochet hook, toy stuffing and a wool needle. Find everything you need in our haberdashery section.
MEASUREMENTS: When finished your Heather will be approximately 36cm tall from feet to top of petals.
