Faye the Bumble Bee

Faye the Bumble Bee is flying loop-the-loop into the menagerie ready for you to practise your 'loop stitch' technique! Did you know that until the 1950s in the UK we called them 'humblebees', and it is thought that the name 'bumble bee' was taken from a story written by Beatrix Potter?

TOFT’s Edward’s Menagerie collection is a series of crochet amigurumi toys designed by Kerry Lord. This crochet animal kit contains TOFT’s quality pure wool yarn and an easy-to-follow downloadable pattern. There are video links for all the crochet stitches and techniques used in the pattern to get you started and help you complete your toy. THIS CROCHET KIT CONTAINS: 75g of TOFT's luxury DK pure wool yarn in the colours of your choice.

The crochet pattern is provided digitally in .pdf format. You can download this from a link that will appear at the bottom of your order confirmation email and in your MY TOFT library. You can log in and re-download the pattern at your convenience.

YOU WILL NEED: To complete your crochet bee you will need a few added extras including a 3mm crochet hook, toy stuffing and a wool needle. Find everything you need in our haberdashery section or upgrade to a complete kit which includes all of the above!

MEASUREMENTS: When finished your Bumble Bee will be approximately 14cm long from front of head to end of abdomen.

SKILL LEVEL 3: This kit is more suitable for those with some crochet experience.

IT WILL TAKE: Approximately 1-5 hours crochet time.
