Gargoyle Kit

Designed as water spouts to throw rain water away from the outside wall of a building, gargoyles usually combine the features of more than one animal to create a fantastical creature. Often seen on the walls of churches, they also inspire fear and suggest that evil dwells on the outside of the building rather than inside it. The word 'gargoyle' is derived from the French term 'gargouille', meaning throat.

Hand-packed into a fully-recyclable TOFT box, this crochet kit comes with all the luxury materials and quality tools you'll need to complete the crochet project from our pure wool yarn to soft-grip crochet hook, wool needle and stuffing.

TOFT’s Edward’s Menagerie collection is a series of crochet amigurumi toys designed by Kerry Lord. This crochet animal kit contains TOFT’s quality pure wool yarn and an easy-to-follow pattern. There are video links for all the crochet stitches and techniques used in the pattern to get you started and help you complete your toy. The crochet pattern is also provided digitally in .pdf format. You can download this from a link that will appear at the bottom of your order confirmation email and in your MY TOFT library. You can log in and re-download the pattern at your convenience.

MEASUREMENTS: When finished your Large Gargoyle will be approximately 44cm tall from feet to top of head when standing.

SKILL LEVEL 3: This kit is more suitable for those with some crochet experience.

IT WILL TAKE: Approximately 1-5 hours crochet time.
