Frida Kahlo is an iconic artist who is best known for her self-portraits that depict passion and pain in bold and vibrant colours. Find out more about her story and crochet the doll to match with this collectable kit from TOFT. Designed by Kerry Lord, Frida Kahlo was the fourth instalment in the 'Making Women who Made History' series and crochet subscription.

This doll project celebrates the life and achievements of this iconic female figure using a carefully selected range of TOFT colours. Based on the Edward's Emporium range of crocheted dolls by Kerry Lord, this figure is the perfect addition to your TOFT collection. The figures from Making Women who Made History all come packaged into our special doll packaging with illustrated sticker and collectable information card which details their story and role in history.

The crochet pattern is provided digitally in .pdf format. You can download this from a link that will appear at the bottom of your order confirmation email and in your MY TOFT library. You can log in and re-download the pattern at your convenience.

YOU WILL NEED: To complete your Frida Kahlo doll you will need a few added extras including a 3mm crochet hook, toy stuffing, and a wool needle. Find everything you need in our haberdashery section.

MEASUREMENTS: When finished your doll will be approximately 33cm tall from feet to top of head.

SKILL LEVEL 3: This kit is more suitable for those with some crochet experience.

IT WILL TAKE: Approximately 15-20 hours crochet time.
