TOFT Primrose DK Yarn 25g

£6.00
A gorgeously soft double knitting weight pure wool yarn, spun here in the UK. Part of TOFT's pastel range, this sherbet lemon shade of 'Primrose' is now available in 25g balls of DK, perfect for adding a hint of colour to your next project.

Inspired by the flower of the same name, this DK pure wool was designed and spun to accompany the release of the Alexandra's Garden series of crochet plant, flower and vegetable books by Kerry Lord. One of the first flowers to bloom in Spring and rumoured to be Shakespeare's favourite flower, the primrose has a long associated history with fairies – according to English folklore if you eat a primrose, you'll see a fairy. The most common colour of primrose is yellow, which symbolises happiness, warmth and love, perfect for any occasion!

TOFT's pure wool range is seriously luxurious, spun in Yorkshire from the finest fleeces. Our pure wool yarns are versatile and can be used for most knitting and crochet patterns creating wonderful amigurumi toys, garments for adults and babies and a full range of supersoft indoor and wearable accessories. TOFT’s pure wool is lofty and bouncy, and has the perfect twist to ensure a soft handling fabric that washes very well. TOFT DK yarns have been used to create all of the crochet patterns featured in Kerry Lord's Edward's Menagerie book series and all the TOFT knitting patterns and crochet patterns.
