Bembe the Purple Honeycreeper

First seen in April 2022 as part of TOFT's Ed's Birds Club crochet subscription, Bembé the Purple Honeycreeper is a vibrant mixture of bright and bold colours with some interesting details around his eyes and wings. Standing approximately 15cm taller than his real-life counterpart, this bird is sure to brighten up the room all year round.

This cute crochet project forms part of our Edward's Menagerie collection of amigurumi crochet toys designed by Kerry Lord. This amigurumi crochet bird kit contains our luxurious pure wool DK yarn and an easy-to-follow downloadable pattern with video links for all the techniques.

THIS KIT CONTAINS: 125g of TOFT's luxury DK pure wool in the colours of your choice.

The crochet pattern is provided digitally in .pdf format. You can download this from a link that will appear at the bottom of your order confirmation email and in your MY TOFT library. You can log in and re-download the pattern at your convenience.

YOU WILL NEED: To complete your Purple Honeycreeper you will need a few added extras including a 3mm crochet hook, toy stuffing, Black yarn for facial features and a wool needle. Find everything you need in our haberdashery section or upgrade to a complete kit which includes all of the above!

MEASUREMENTS: When finished your bird will be approximately 22cm tall from feet to top of head.

SKILL LEVEL 3: This kit is more suitable for those with some crochet experience.

IT WILL TAKE: Approximately 5-10 hours crochet time.
