Tunisian crochet is a craft that creates a fabric resembling a more traditional knitted piece, rather than crochet as it is named. Also known as 'Afghan crochet', Tunisian crochet uses an elongated hook, usually with a cable and stopper attached to the end and holds multiple loops on the hook in a style similar to knitting. ADD POM POM: Choose to add a TOFT alpaca pom pom to your hat in a coordinated or contrasting colour. TOFT alpaca pom poms are mounted onto press studs so they are interchangeable and your hat is fully washable. Sew the outer press stud to the top of your hat using yarn then snap it together with the pom pom side of the stud for the perfect finish to your hat!
The Tunisian crochet pattern is provided digitally in .pdf format. You can download this from a link that will appear at the bottom of your order confirmation email and in your MY TOFT library. You can log in and re-download the pattern at your convenience.
YOU WILL NEED: To complete your Tower Beanie you will need a few added extras including 2 x 6mm Tunisian crochet hook, 60cm cable and a wool needle. Find everything you need in our haberdashery section.
SIZE: Choose from two size options within your pattern to fit ADULT Small/Medium or Medium/Large.
SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate - This kit is more suitable for those with some Tunisian crochet experience.
IT WILL TAKE: Approximately 10-15 hours crochet time.
