King's Guard Doll: Foot Soldier

Celebrate the coronation of King Charles III with this exciting new doll kit from TOFT, inspired by the King's Life Guard in the British Army. Best known for events like the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, these soldiers usually remain steadfast in their positions during the day and take part in ceremonial parades for occasions such as coronations, royal weddings and funerals.

This crochet doll project is based on the Edward's Emporium collection of amigurumi dolls and costumes designed by Kerry Lord. Made using amigurumi crochet techniques, your finished doll will become an heirloom for generations to come. This stunning pattern is crocheted in our luxury wool DK yarn and makes the perfect addition to your collection, or as a gift for a loved one.

THIS KIT CONTAINS: 250g of TOFT's luxury DK pure wool in the following colours.
25g Skin Tone (shown here in Oatmeal)

The crochet pattern is provided digitally in .pdf format. You can download this from a link that will appear at the bottom of your order confirmation email and in your MY TOFT library. You can log in and re-download the pattern at your convenience.

YOU WILL NEED: To complete your Kings Guard Foot Soldier Doll you will need a few added extras including a 3mm crochet hook, toy stuffing and a wool needle. Find everything you need in our haberdashery section.

MEASUREMENTS: When finished your doll will be approximately 40cm tall from feet to top of cap.

SKILL LEVEL 3: This kit is more suitable for those with some crochet experience.

IT WILL TAKE: Approximately 20+ hours crochet time.
