Hyenas are a misunderstood creature, viewed as dangerous, destructive and even as grave robbers according to some superstitions. However, these striped scavengers are intelligent, caring animals that usually avoid contact with other wildlife. This crochet hyena is perfect for those who have begun to get a grip of the beginner patterns in the Edward’s Menagerie collection and are now looking to upgrade their skills.

TOFT’s Edward’s Menagerie collection is a series of crochet amigurumi toys designed by Kerry Lord. This crochet animal kit contains TOFT’s quality pure wool yarn and an easy-to-follow downloadable pattern. There are video links for all the crochet stitches and techniques used in the pattern to get you started and help you complete your toy. 100g of TOFT's luxury DK pure wool yarn in the following colours:
Main colour: 75g Stone
Contrast colour: 25g Cocoa
A length of Black yarn for the eyes and nose
A soft grip 3mm TOFT crochet hook
Wool needle

The crochet pattern is also provided digitally in .pdf format. You can download this from a link that will appear at the bottom of your order confirmation email and in your MY TOFT library. You can log in and re-download the pattern at your convenience.

MEASUREMENTS: When finished your Hyena will be approximately 29cm tall from feet to top of mane.

SKILL LEVEL 3: This kit is more suitable for those with some crochet experience.

IT WILL TAKE: Approximately 5-10 hours crochet time.
