Punch needle is a type of traditional needlework that has evolved from rug hooking techniques. The punch needle tool works by forming continuous loops that are held in place by the weave of the fabric, therefore there is no need for knots or glue to secure the yarn. The stitch technique creates two textures – one flat stitch side which is the side the stitches are worked from and a looped side which is traditionally the ‘right’ side of the fabric.

This adjustable and interchangeable TOFT branded punch needle is the ideal tool for working with TOFT DK wool in our punch needle projects, as well as making cushions, rugs and other tapestry creations. Made in Portugal from recycled plastic, the set includes three needles with different thicknesses for TOFT DK and FINE yarn and embroidery thread, a threader and a handle, all wrapped up in a TOFT needlework tote bag to keep it safe. A must-have for anyone looking to try their hand at this exciting craft!

You'll also receive an introductory .pdf file that explains how to use your materials and tool together. You can download this from a link that will appear at the bottom of your order confirmation email and in your MY TOFT library. You can log in and re-download the file at your convenience.

PLEASE NOTE: This punch needle tool is a sharp adult craft item only and should be kept out of the reach of children. Handle is made from recycled plastic and finished to a 'wood effect' so the texture may vary.

All orders are hand-picked and packed by our team in Warwickshire into our fully recyclable and reusable packaging.
