Try your hand at a new craft with this fruit themed Punch Needle Kit! If you've enjoyed TOFT's Bargello and Embroidery projects, then Punch Needle is the next craft for you. Once you've mastered the tool and stitch technique, you can quickly create shapes and fill them in with TOFT's luxurious DK yarn.

Punch needle is a type of traditional needlework that has evolved from rug hooking techniques. The punch needle tool works by forming continuous loops that are held in place by the weave of the fabric, therefore there is no need for knots or glue to secure the yarn. This technique works perfectly with TOFT's yarn and can be worked to create two textures – one flat stitch side which is the side the stitches are worked from and a looped side – allowing you to decide which side of your project you'd like to display.

YOU WILL NEED: A heat fading pen or soft pencil to transfer the design onto your fabric and a ruler.

MEASUREMENTS: Designed to fit 20cm hoop.

SKILL LEVEL: Suitable for all skill levels. A great introduction to learn a new craft.

IT WILL TAKE: Approximately 1-5 hours.
