Join in with the creative TOFT community with our quarterly design challenge! Ed’s Imaginists is a fun, collaborative project based on Kerry Lord’s popular flip book ‘Edward’s Imaginarium’. Founded in December 2019, it has showcased hundreds of TOFT fans' creative talents and demonstrated just how many different monsters you can mix and match from the patterns inside the book.
This club is all about getting creative with a quarterly colour palette that has been set by Kerry Lord. We want you to use the 'Edward’s Imaginarium' book in conjunction with the set TOFT DK colours to crochet a monster straight out of your own imagination. Once you’ve finished your design, snap a photo and share it, along with your monster's ‘formula’ onto the dedicated Instagram hashtag (@edsimaginists #edsimaginists). Every quarter Kerry will pick a winner and the design will become a TOFT kit as part of our monster range.
THIS BOX CONTAINS:
75g Coral, 25g Orange, 25g Cream + Black and Cream eye threads
IN ADDITION TO THIS YARN YOU WILL NEED: a copy of Edward’s Imaginarium, a 3mm crochet hook, a handful of stuffing, an Instagram account and a touch of creativity.
SKILL LEVEL: Choose your skill level. If you’re a beginner then feel free to stick to the easier patterns. If you’re a crochet veteran, then test your skills on the harder patterns. Judging of the quarterly competition will be based on concept and design rather than crochet expertise, so beginner and advanced crocheters are equally encouraged to come and join in the fun.
VITAL STATS: When finished your monster will be approximately 28cm tall excluding horns and tails.
DEADLINE: This quarter’s designs will be judged after the 31st March 2023.
All orders are hand-picked and packed by our team in Warwickshire into our fully recyclable and reusable packaging.
