A gorgeously soft double knitting weight pure wool yarn, spun here in the UK. Part of TOFT's pastel range, this gentle and romantic pink 'Peony' is now available in 25g balls of DK, perfect for adding a splash of colour to your next project.
Inspired by the flower of the same name, this DK pure wool was designed and spun to accompany the release of the Alexandra's Garden series of crochet plant, flower and vegetable books by Kerry Lord. Although peonies come in a rainbow of colours, one of the most common is light pink. Its subtle blush tones are traditionally associated with romance, prosperity and luck, evoking a sense of ethereal beauty. Often found in wedding bouquets and Mother's Day arrangements, this pale pink is a classic and timeless colour that reflects the peony flower perfectly.
TOFT's pure wool range is seriously luxurious, spun in Yorkshire from the finest fleeces. Our pure wool yarns are versatile and can be used for most knitting and crochet patterns creating wonderful amigurumi toys, garments for adults and babies and a full range of supersoft indoor and wearable accessories. TOFT’s pure wool is lofty and bouncy, and has the perfect twist to ensure a soft handling fabric that washes very well. TOFT DK yarns have been used to create all of the crochet patterns featured in Kerry Lord's Edward's Menagerie book series and all the TOFT knitting patterns and crochet patterns.
