Designed for TOFT’s 10th birthday, Kerry the Chameleon was the first ‘non-standard’ pattern that broke away from using the classic pear-shaped body and rounded legs found in all the Edward’s Menagerie designs. Kerry was originally only available alongside one-off hand-dyed TOFT skeins made in conjunction with other independent hand-dyers all across the country and beyond. The success of this project inspired TOFT’s own #edsanimalsedsdyeclub.
TOFT’s Edward’s Menagerie collection is a series of crochet amigurumi toys designed by Kerry Lord. This crochet animal kit contains TOFT’s quality pure wool yarn and an easy-to-follow downloadable pattern. There are video links for all the crochet stitches and techniques used in the pattern to get you started and help you complete your toy. The crochet pattern is provided digitally in .pdf format. You can download this from a link that will appear at the bottom of your order confirmation email and in your MY TOFT library. You can log in and re-download the pattern at your convenience.
YOU WILL NEED: To complete your crochet animal you will need a few added extras including a 3mm crochet hook, toy stuffing and a wool needle. Find everything you need in our haberdashery section.
MEASUREMENTS: When finished your Chameleon will be approximately 18cm tall and 48cm long from front of head to end of tail.
SKILL LEVEL 3: This kit is more suitable for those with some crochet experience.
IT WILL TAKE: Approximately 5-10 hours crochet time.
