A rare breed of bird, the Orust Rooster is originally from Sweden. Identified by his black and white plumage, Melvin the Orust Rooster is a classy addition to the TOFT flock. The rooster is also the tenth animal to appear in the Zodiac calendar, and represents hardworking, resourceful and courageous characteristics.

This cute crochet animal project forms part of our Edward's Menagerie collection of amigurumi crochet toys designed by Kerry Lord. This amigurumi crochet bird kit contains our luxurious pure wool yarn and an easy-to-follow downloadable pattern with video links for all the techniques.

The crochet pattern is provided digitally in .pdf format. You can download this from a link that will appear at the bottom of your order confirmation email and in your MY TOFT library. You can log in and re-download the pattern at your convenience.

YOU WILL NEED: To complete your Rooster you will need a few added extras including a 3mm crochet hook, toy stuffing, Black yarn for facial features and a wool needle. Find everything you need in our haberdashery section.

MEASUREMENTS: When finished your Rooster will be approximately 28cm from feet to top of head.

SKILL LEVEL 3: This kit is more suitable for those with some crochet experience.

IT WILL TAKE: Approximately 1-5 hours crochet time.
