Morag the Highland Coo has risen to fame as one of TOFT's favourite members of the menagerie since her debut at Edinburgh Yarn Festival in 2018. This shaggy 'coo' is one of the most loved designs to date and continues to bring joy to TOFT lovers all over the world.

Highland cows (known locally to Scots as 'coos') are the oldest cattle breed in the world, originating from the Highlands and the Western Isles of Scotland. They were originally black, but the Victorians selectively bred them to become the standard 'ginger' colour we all recognise and love today – captured perfectly by TOFT's Camel shade.

YOU WILL NEED: To complete one of TOFT’s giant animal crochet patterns you will need a few added extras, including an 8mm crochet hook, toy stuffing, yarn for facial features and a wool needle. Go to our recommended section below to get direct links to these products.

MEASUREMENTS: When finished and in the sitting position Morag will be approximately 34cm tall excluding ears and horns.
